WHO IS JIM WYCKOFF?
Jim is the founder of an analytical, educational and trading service called “Jim Wyckoff on the Markets”. He also serves as the senior market analyst for a free educational website created to benefit traders at www.tradingeducation.com.

He has spent the majority of the last 20 years working in stock, financial and commodity futures markets. He started out on commodity futures trading floor in both New York and Chicago as a reporter where over the years he covered U.S. futures markets as well as international markets. After some time, Jim realized that technical analysis was a tool that almost all successful traders utilized. This realization came to be largely his inspiration for starting his company as he concluded that after many years of observation and experience, he had a lot of useful information that he could share with other traders to help them succeed.

As far as Jim’s personal life goes, he is married and has two children, one of which is a college student and the other who is still in high school. He lives in the state of Iowa which is where he was originally born and raised. Those close to Jim know that he has a real adventurous side. In his spare time, he enjoys doing things such as hiking in the jungles of South America and extreme winter camping in the Boundary Waters.
